Marshal is large and evasive enough that your opponents wont want you keeping it around, but if they do manage to remove it, you could end up spreading its power across multiple creatures
The Crystals incorporate the Medallion text, and offer way more passive and late-game utility, so theyll likely be very strong for the decks that want them, but theyre less important and more replaceable than 2-mana rocks
